The JSP Directors are delighted to announce that Carly Pharoah and Amie Harris joined the Directorship on 2nd July 2024.

Carly has been at the firm since 2012 and completed her training with the firm. She is the Head of our Magistrates Trials Department.

Carly appears daily in the Magistrates Court and is one of our lead Magistrates Trial Advocates. Carly is noted for her forthright and robust advocacy but remains patient and sympathetic to her clients.  As such she has built a local client base and has many direct personal referrals. She conducts a large, fast paced case load and had dealt with a range of cases including; attempted murder, sexual offences and serious violence.

Amie was admitted as a Solicitor in 2020 having started with the firm as paralegal. She previously worked for the Serious Fraud Office. She is the Training Principle for the firm

Amie also appears daily in the Magistrates Court and is one of our lead Magistrates Trial Advocates. She conducts a large case load dealing with the most serious offences of murder, drugs offences and sexual offences.

Amie was recognised in Chambers UK 2024 guide as an “Associate to watch” with the review; “Amie is fantastic – she works hard and clients adore her.”
